The Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme has opened a Seed Money Call today November 5th. Seed money is funding provided by the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme to support the preparation of projects in line with the Action Plan of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR). With seed money support projects can be prepared for any funding source available in the region. Because the EUSBSR is currently under revision the applicants should discuss the project ideas and their contribution to the revised Action Plan with the relevant PAC/HAC as early as possible. Read more about the call here.

The task of HA Neighbours is to bring stakeholders from the EU and the non-EU countries – Belarus, Iceland, Norway and Russia – together in a constructive and mutually advantageous manner. In the coming Action Plan of the EUSBSR HA Neighbours would like to address the issues of a) monitoring b) joint planning and c) support of EU – non-EU cooperation. These issues are focused on three different levels which are between 1) strategies/policy 2) governance/coordination and 3) implementation.

Projects HA Neighbours would like to support for Seed Money should  adress one or more of the issues mentioned in one or more levels of cooperation. If your organization is interested in developing EU – non-EU cooperation in the region, please contact HA Coordinators Juhani Ailio (juhani.ailio@centrumbalticum.org) or Daria Akhutina (daria.akhutina@cbss.org) for more information and to set up a consultation. Please do this as soon as possbile.

The deadline for applications is December 9th.
